Media Mentor Month
Posted 02/28/2018 09:39AM
Media Mentor Month is a challenge for families developed by Keri-Lee Beasley and Daniel Johnston--educators at GEMS Worldwide Academy Switzerland. It fits well with our Student Safety Week taking place this week on the Bayside campus.

Media Mentor Month challenges us to be Media Mentors to our children rather than Media Police. In a nutshell, use the calendar to complete the daily challenges with your child(ren). Complete as many of the media activities as you can during the month of March.

For a deeper look at the theory and rationale behind the challenge I encourage you to read her two blog posts--
Media Mentors not Media Police and Media Mentor Month--where she explains the challenge and rationale in detail.
