About Us
Shekou International School (SIS) is the first private, co- educational, not-for-profit school in Shenzhen. Established in Shekou, Nanshan District in 1988, SIS serves students in Nursery through Grade 12 (ages 2-18) on the Jingshan, the Bay and the Net Valley campuses.
SIS has long been at the forefront of international education for expatriate children in the region. The school currently enrols more than 1100 students representing more than 40 countries. SIS provides a holistic education in a caring community and inspires our students to become principled, innovative contributors in a transforming world.
深圳市蛇口外籍人员子女学校(SIS)是深圳第一所成立于 1988 年的私立的非营利性学校，位于深圳市南山蛇口片区。学校共三个校区，分别位于深圳鲸山别墅，太子湾和蛇口网谷。学校提供国际课程项目，法语国际项目和中英双语项目三种特色课程接纳从幼儿园到 12 年级(2-18 岁)的学生。
SIS ⻓期以来一直处于该地区外籍儿童国际教育的前沿。该校目前有来自40多个国家的1100多名学生。SIS作为一个友爱社区为学生们提供全人教育，并激励我们的学生在不断变化的世界里，成为有原则和有创新精神的贡献者。

Since we began in 1988, we have provided expatriate students in Shenzhen with the highest standard of education. We are proud to be a not-for-profit school owned by International Schools Services, the leading provider of services to international schools for nearly 70 years. We build on this strong tradition of proven excellence to provide an education that helps students succeed.
Our staff come from more than a dozen nations worldwide and are experienced, committed, and highly qualified. They know how to bring learning alive for students by providing challenging and personalised experiences.
Our curriculum is from the best and most current international sources, making it relevant and challenging for our students. Student-centred approaches are at the heart of how our teachers work with each student from early childhood to graduation. We are authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) for PYP and DP. We will be authorized this year for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) since we offer students a comprehensive and inspiring experience. Our students consistently perform above their peers on various international tests and access great schools and universities when ready to leave Shenzhen.
SIS’s modern, technologically advanced facilities are safe, green, and beautifully landscaped. Our students have access to first-class venues beyond the classroom, allowing for their full physical and social development as they grow.
With over 35 years of educational excellence, we have been a cornerstone of the expatriate community in Shenzhen.
