How many days are teachers expected to work?
New teachers work 193 days and returning teachers work 190 days per year.

When will I be expected to start school?
Teachers are expected to arrive about the first week in August.

When can I submit my application?
Candidates are encouraged to visit the Open Positions section of this website and apply as soon as positions are posted. We accept applications as early as September.

Does SIS recruit teaching couples and families?
Yes, SIS hires both singles and teaching couples. Our focus is on hiring the best teachers for our students.

Does SIS recruit teachers without certification?
SIS does not recruit teachers without the proper certification.

How does SIS familiarize new staff?
SIS eases the transition through a well developed orientation process.
